In his latest video address, Dr. Egon Cholakian analyzes the 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the Kamchatka region on July 30, 2025. He emphasizes that this event was not just an isolated "release of tectonic stress" but a signal marking the onset of a new and acute geodynamic phase linked to the awakening of the Siberian mantle plume. Dr. Cholakian explains that the earthquake is the result of the so-called edge effect, a manifestation of the immense pressure the Siberian plume exerts on the Eurasian lithospheric plate, and provides a detailed analysis of the geophysical mechanisms behind this process.

Dr. Cholakian also highlights a forecast made by his colleague, Mr. Danilov, who in early June 2025 predicted a powerful earthquake in early August north of the Japanese archipelago. This forecast was confirmed by the Kamchatka event, serving as strong evidence of the effectiveness of the innovative seismic forecasting method employed by Mr. Danilov.
The video includes excerpts from Egon Cholakian’s earlier public addresses, along with quotes from ALLATRA’s analytical reports. These materials demonstrate a clear correlation between the Kamchatka earthquake and the climate-geodynamic model previously outlined in the movement’s publications.

Dr. Cholakian also offers a critical assessment of the approaches used by some members of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). He argues that current official explanations based on the concept of "accumulated tectonic stress" or "solar activity" fail to fully account for the role of mantle plumes and other deep geodynamic processes. He stresses that relying solely on outdated theoretical models and the lack of full data transparency poses a serious challenge to accurately assessing and responding to potential threats.

Cholakian underscores that the ALLATRA movement, based on its interdisciplinary scientific model, had issued early warnings about such events and the potential worsening of geodynamic conditions in the region, and it is precisely for disseminating this information that the movement has faced repression within Russia.

In the final part of the address, Egon Cholakian calls on the global community to adopt a more conscious and science-based approach to evaluating geodynamic risks. He emphasizes that each of us faces a choice: to continue believing a comforting lie that leads inevitably to disaster or to find the courage to confront a harsh reality. It is a choice between ignorance and knowledge, complacency and responsibility.
